The answer lies in the longstanding friendship between Galerie Vision 24 artist Reinhard Stammer and Oyonarte, which began on Facebook. This bond deepened during a visit to Madrid in the spring of 2024, when Oyonarte readily agreed to exhibit his works in Palma de Mallorca at Reinhard’s request.
Both artists share a mutual admiration, having followed similar artistic journeys. Oyonarte encapsulates this sentiment, stating, “Solo cuando no soy consciente de lo que ha sucedido en el proceso artístico sé que la obra es profunda.” (“Only when I am not aware of what has happened in the artistic process do I know that the work is profound.”)
Oyonarte’s art delves into the shared origins of humanity, breaking free from conventions and concepts to embrace simplicity and originality. A critic once aptly described a Reinhard Stammer exhibition as, “directly from the artist’s unconscious, resonating with the collective unconscious.”
Following a visit to Oyonarte’s studio, Reinhard Stammer remarked, “Seeing his simple compositions, I felt enveloped by the universe in all its beauty, splendor, and perfection.”
